White Widows of Vrindavan

For a week, I visited the Sri Bagwan Bhajan Ashram in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh.
The place is very well known beeing the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Many pilgrims from the world over come to visit this place and nowadays on the touristic tour, there is a visit to this Ashram where over 2000 widows are being helped.
They get a token every time they attend the prayer room to sing Bhajan Kritan, a form of singing prayer.
Then then can get a free meal against this token.
Their condition is terrible I must say, even though one doesn't feel it when staying with them.They are also laughing and joking.
