Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning said he would "take some time to reflect" before making a decision on retirement.
Manning, 39, helped the Broncos to a 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday night at Levi's Stadium.
"I got some good advice from Tony Dungy, who's going into the Hall of Fame and is my old coach.
He said don't make an emotional decision," Manning said while holding the Super Bowl trophy on the stage after the gam Manning, who played his first 14 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, is a first-ballot Hall of Famer in waiting.
He went to Denver Broncos as a free agent in 2012 and authored the most prolific season of any quarterback in history in 2013.
