The stars of Captain America: Civil War head back for reshoots and we’ve got the details right now on Clevver Newsfeed. New Civil War set photos show that Captain America could be facing the fight of his life. Five months after wrapping principal photography, Captain America 3 star Chris Evans was spotted heading back to shooting for Civil War and it looks like he’ll be in for a major beating. The photo shows Evans sporting a serious bruise on both his left cheek and his right lip and while in any other movie we could chalk it up to the film’s resident villain, the fact that he’ll be taking on his fellow Avengers in this film means almost anyone could be responsible for the beat down. While smart money would be on Iron Man, the appearance of another co-star on set points to these bruises coming courtesy of the newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Black Panther. Chadwick Boseman, who will be introduced as Black Panther in the film before getting his own film in 2018 was also spotted on the set, but he bared no visible scars. Of course, this could be simply because he hadn’t hit the make-up chair yet or perhaps Black Panther’s vibranium suit protected him during the scuffle? We’ll of course have to wait until May 6th to find out, but what we do know is that one character’s fate in the film will play heavily into the story and also future films. While at the Sundance Film Festival this past weekend, Don Cheadle was asked by Superhero Hype what the future holds for War Machine to which he replied quote, “I never know what it’s going to be and they keep their cards very close to their breast with Marvel. I never know where the character’s going to go, but he’s become more and more and in the next one, you’ll see that what happens to Rhodey is a little bit more intense and pivotal to what happens in the rest of the stories.” After seeing a fallen Rhodey being comforted by his BFF Tony Stark in the latest Civil War trailer, his future in the MCU remains in question and by the look of Chris Evan’s face, the same could be said for everyone involved. Again, we’ll have to wait a few more months to find out who makes it out alive, but in the meantime we can enjoy some new concept art from the film thanks to Iron Studios, who recently announced a line of replica statues of the characters will be released soon to coincide with the film’s release. So, what do you think of Chris Evan’s bruised face and do you think War Machine will survive to make it to Avengers: Infinity War?
