Beautiful footage of the atmospheric phenomenon known as a "Sun Dog" appearing over North Dakota, USA.

The video was shot yesterday as the filmer, a storm chaser, was travelling south towards reports of a blizzard in Nebraska.

Sun Dogs, also known as Phantom Suns, look like halos around the Sun and occur when light hits ice crystals in the atmosphere.
