The mystery perplexed nautical experts for years, and the story was fictionalized into this fun oversea horror show. Lugosi is a one armed drunken sailor who witless joins the crew of a purportedly jinxed ship, The Marie Celeste. But while Lugosi is drinking on board the creaking vessel, crew members begin to be mysteriously murdered! Plenty of unintentional laughs and intentional frights ensue as captain and crew scramble to save their lives aboard The Phantom Ship!
