****Read me*** I am an English teacher living in South Korea. I thought I would post about some things that I do and have noticed help when dealing with the Korean culture. If you are not in Korea, maybe it can also help you as well, some tips are somewhat neutral and don't apply to Korea only. I hope that you enjoy this video. I was in a SILLY mood when I made it.... and I was on vacation so I had free time to kill... so excuse the random sillyness. LOL If you have any questions feel free to ask them.

thanks for watching!
first tip: Don't automatically become defensive! Some things that are offensive in your country may not be offensive in other countries. You are in KOREA so you must realize that THINGS ARE DIFFERENT!!! If something offensive happens don't asume that that means war! Be rational. ALSO SOme things in some languages mean words in other languages.. or closely resemble the sounds... so DON"T AUTOMATICALLY BECOME OFFENSIVE.
Second: DOn't assume racism. Korean people will stare at you ALOT!! It doesnt matter who you are, where you ar efrom, or what you look like. If you are not asian then you will be stared at; blacks and whites equally.
Third: Be positive! Some people realize that Korea is not for them and that's ok! Just dont complain EVERY DAY!!! try to find something that you like and be positive. If you always focus on negatives you can be in a big palace with gold all around you, friends and family that love you, and all you are focused on is that man that scowled at you! IGNORE!! LOL
Fourth: You are in a foreign country so you in a way need to conform to what is being done here. Yu cannot expect for people to conform you your cultural ways or know them. You are the visitor!
