On the Road - Trailer - Movie Review: Has been released for the upcoming adaptation On the Road, which still doesn't have a release date yet. This classic Jack Kerouac novel comes to life with stars Sam Riley as the author, Garrett Hedlund as his travel companion Dean Moriarty, and Kristen Stewart as Marylou. Just after his father's death, Sal Paradise, an aspiring New York writer, meets Dean Moriarty, a devastatingly charming ex-con, married to the very liberated and seductive Marylou. Sal and Dean bond instantly. Determined not to get locked in to a constricted life, the two friends cut their ties and take to the road with Marylou. Thirsting for liberty, the three young people head off in search of the world, of other encounters, and of themselves. On the Road comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, Kirsten Dunst. The film is directed by Walter Salles.
