A stunning video has emerged of a multi-coloured, nacreous cloud formation in Hessle, UK.

The footage, shot on Tuesday morning, shows the formation called "nacreous clouds", "mother-of-pearl clouds" or "polar stratospheric cloud" which could be seen around the north of England and Scotland.

The stunning phenomenon usually happens around Scandinavia, Iceland, Alaska and Northern Canada and is much rarer in the UK.
