Hang gliding take-off goes badly wrong

A dramatic video has emerged from Brazil of the moment a hang gliding take-off went horribly wrong.
The pilot is readying himself to leap off a cliff near Joao Pessoa when a gust of wind catches the wings and sends him plummeting off the clifftop.
Fortunately he crashes onto a grassy ledge just a few metres below.
He was not seriously injured in the incident.
