The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey Alternate Trailer (2012): Has released a new, alternate trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, director Peter Jackson's upcoming Middle Earth adventure that takes place before his The Lord of the Rings trilogy. While this is practically identical to the first trailer that debuted in December, there are three brief new bits of footage, with Bilbo's reaction to Gandalf's arrival (0:23), Bilbo hiding in a Mirkwood tree (1:57), and Bilbo, Gandalf, and the dwarves running through the forest (1:59). The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey comes to theaters December 14th, 2012 and stars Elijah Wood, Billy Connolly, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Luke Evans, Hugo Weaving, Martin Freeman, Evangeline Lilly. The film is directed by Peter Jackson.
