クリスマスの朝、雪の校庭に転落死した男子生徒。警察は自殺と判断したが、殺人の目撃者を名乗る告発状が学校に届く。告発された容疑者はクラスメート。過熱するマスコミ報道、無力な学校と親、新たな殺人計画、そして犠牲者がひとり、また一人。もう、大人たちに任せておけない。隠された真実を暴くため、学校内裁判が開廷される――。
After a junior high school boy is murdered on Christmas and left in a schoolyard, a supposed eye-witness offers up an anonymous written statement of what happened. More murders follow, leading to the school falling into chaos as the media attention intensifies and teachers scramble to insulate themselves from scrutiny. Unable to trust the adults to handle the situation, the students, led by 14-year-old Ryoko Fujino, hold a trial of their own inside the school.
