Vincent D'Onofrio is in talks to play the main villain in Warner Bros.' CHiPs remake. The actor joins Dax Shepard and Michael Pena, who signed on to play Jon Baker and Frank Poncherello last year. The remake is based on the hit TV series of the same name and will center on an exotic car thief ring, with Vincent D'Onofrio set to play the ringleader, who used to be a cop himself. Dax Shepard is also directing and writing the screenplay. No production schedule was given at this time.
