Woh dard kay Aram sa tha aur Mujhe day...In 1973, Zahoor Nazar sb had requested this lovely ghazal to Ilyas Ishqi sb who was Station Director of PBC Multan (Multan Radio) From there Khalid Bhai composed it and rendered it in his own style in 'Kalawati'. It was very popular in that era and used to be played regularly. Since Khalid Bhai never provide its audio to anyone here so its having its Premier on YouTube, Dailymotion and Facebook. Hope you all like it. This rare gem was provided by our friend Farrukh Murad along with many other PBC Multan Productions which I plan to upload and refresh memories of good old Radio days of 70s. The rare pic you see in the playing window belongs to Khalid Asghar when he was performing in Islamia College, Lahore, in 1964, being a student of F.Sc. (Intermediate) Lets enjoy the beautiful melody.
