Oklahoma woman’s hysterical account of apartment fire goes viral

TULSA, OKLAHOMA — An Oklahoma woman has become a viral star after she gave a hilarious TV interview about a fire that tore through her apartment complex on Sunday morning.

A blown transformer caused a fire at Tulsa’s Casa Linda apartments that had residents hearing poppin’, which was really electrical wires frying.

Despite the lack of power or heat, Michelle Dobyne was pretty upbeat about the whole situation, and gave what is arguably the greatest news interview in 2016 thus far. In her interview with News on 6, Dobyne said she was alerted to the fire by her neighbors. After realizing the building was on fire, she grabbed her three kids and got out of the apartment.

Like Sweet Brown and Antoine Dodson before her, Dobyne’s interview will likely spawn a million internet memes and vines. Netizens have already started buzzing. While some were amused by her stellar storytelling skills and gave suggestions on where else she can put them to use, others commented on the general hilarity of the video, and how entertaining she is.
