UNITED KINGDOM — “Admit you had sex, I know you did,” the man messages. “Once, but not really. Not long and not like us or anything. It sounds worse than it is. I can explain better in person. Please, I’m sorry,” his girlfriend responds.
That exchange occurred after an unidentified man reportedly discovered images and text messages on his father’s phone showing that his girlfriend and his father were having an affair.
The man posted his dilemma to message board site 4Chan, saying he was devastated and broken. Unsurprisingly, the responses he received from 4Chan users were mostly vulgar and included many suggestions involving horrific acts of violence.
Live blogging his text message conversation with his cheating girlfriend, the Internet was treated to a long back and forth between the pair that included much denying on the part of the girlfriend. When finally confronted with screenshot evidence of “naughty” pictures she had sent to her boyfriend’s father, the woman reportedly finally admitted it, saying it was, “an accident” that only happened once.
UK newspaper The Sun reports the man’s father apologized, sort of, saying he can’t take back what happened but that his son should, “cut him some slack” as his wife, his son’s mother, has already forgiven him for his transgressions.
If you were the boyfriend, would you ever be able to forgive any of the people involved in this creepy affair?
