The Karakoram Highway (KKH) is one of the highest paved international roads in the world. It connects the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China and Gilgit–Baltistan of Pakistan across the Karakoram mountain range, through the Khunjerab Pass, The Karakoram Highway, also dubbed the 'eighth wonder of the world', is one of the most famous roads to travel in Pakistan if you're an adventure lover looking for a thrill. It starts from Havelian and winds through many beautiful spots such as Mansehra, Thakot, Abbottabad, Besham, Pattan, Sazin, Chils, Gilgit Baltistan and Hunza, connecting China's Xinjiang region with Pakistan's Gilgit–Baltistan region in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at an altitude of 4,693 m/15,397 ft. The twisted path comes across miles and miles of barren land with rocky mountains staring you in the face.
