A 200-year-old pub that sits on a bridge in Summerseat, Greater Manchester, partially collapsed into the river when it flooded on Saturday, December 26. Heavy rain caused the River Irwell to swell under the Waterside Inn, triggering the building to collapse, according to the Independent. There is now concern the bridge itself may collapse.
