Kinky sex author arrested for harboring teen runaway in bondage commune

LAWTON, OKLAHOMA — A best-selling author of books about kinky sex has been arrested in connection with a missing teen who ran away to join his bondage commune, KFOR reported.
According to the Glens Falls Post-Star, Charles Segaloff, 59, and his girlfriend Edna Grayson, 26, were both arrested on charges of harboring a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Segaloff was arraigned in court on Tuesday for travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual activity.
According to the New York Daily News, she left a note for her parents before disappearing on December 8. There was no evidence that the teen was forced to leave, but Segaloff and Grayson allegedly brought her from her home in Greenwich, New York, to the House Makai in Lawton, Oklahoma where Segaloff runs a religious sex group focused on submission, domination and bondage.
The teen told police that she contacted Segaloff on social media back in January because she was curious about the bondage lifestyle. Police tracked her down eight days after she left home using her Facebook account which had been signed in at House Makai, where the teen told investigators she had been living since December 10, and she was asked to perform sex acts with Segaloff and his girlfriend nicknamed "Kitten."
Segaloff is the author of several books about his kinky lifestyle published under his pen name Michael Makai including "Domination & Submission: The BDSM Relationship Handbook," "Michael Makai's Little Book of BDSM Quotes" and "The BDSM Coloring Book: An Activity Book for Kinksters with Crayons."
He has a prior arrest record that includes a 2001 conviction in Washington state for assault with intent to commit a felony, making Segaloff a registered sex offender for some time. He was also a supporter of Mitt Romney's 2012 GOP campaign, and started several websites including Mitt Romney Radio and MittFitts under the name Mike Sage.
