Portuguese pig charms villagers to stay off Christmas menu

Rural villagers in northern Portugal have revived a tradition not practiced for 40 years, but now face a life or death dilemma. In the lead up to Christmas the 'St Antoine Pig' is allowed the run of the streets with locals feeding and pampering him. But on Christmas Eve the pig is given away in a raffle and supposed to be turned into pork. The fate of 'Toninho' is in their hands.
