KARTAL GÖKTAN: Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump makes harsh statements against Muslims and refugees. In his proposals on how to combat terrorism, he said he would consider setting up a government database for MuslimAmericans. He also wants to bring back waterboarding. In combatting ISIS, Trump said suspects must be subjected to waterboarding, a harsh interrogation process where a person is almost drowned with huge amounts of water while strapped on a downward sloping board.  Trump said waterboarding is peanuts compared to methods ISIS employ, like chopping off people’s heads. Trump’s plan on ISIS is to “knock the hell out of them.” He says no other candidate would be as harsh as himself against ISIS and he will weaken the militants by preventing their access to oil revenues. Donald Trump also defends a mass immigrant deportation plan which includes deporting 11.3 million undocumented immigrants currently living in the US.
