Profilers (American Justice)
Bill Kurtis hosts this focus on the investigative tool known as "profiling". Several cases are discussed here.
One thing that drives me crazy is the TV series Criminal Minds. FBI Profilers don't usually carry guns, and they definitely don't make arrests. The local police solve the cases, profilers just assist in pointing them in the direction of the type of individual who might commit the crimes they're trying to solve. I hate how the show depicts this team travelling around to different towns, swooping in to quickly solve the case and they always are first in the door and handcuffing suspects. Pure fiction.
