20 years on, Sarajevo still bears the scars of war

FRANCE 24's reporters, Julien Sauvaget and Clovis Casali, revisit Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina, 20 years after the Dayton Peace Accord, which marked the end of the 1992-1995 war in the Balkans.
Our reporters went back to Sarajevo to meet those who were on the frontline of the fighting and those who had to flee their hometown. Twenty years after the war, they are still living in Sarajevo, a wounded capital, where violence has left its scars on the city and its inhabitants.
Today, despite the Dayton agreement that was signed in Paris on December 14, 1995, Bosnia remains as divided as ever. Tensions are still running high between Bosnian serbs and Bosniaks, with politicians often blamed for preventing old enemies from reaching true reconciliation.
