Monayi angane Aanayi is a movie directed by debutant Santhosh Kan. Aju Varghese play the lead role Monayi in the movie. The movie will also see the combination of most of the actors of Malarvadi Arts Club. Archana Kavi and a fresh face Deepthi are the female leads of the movie. Deepthi is the daughter of yesteryear actress Sumitra. Sumitra will be playing the role of Deepthi's mother itself in the movie.AR Rehman's assistant Vinu Udayan will be composing the music for the movie. Besides Aju, Bhagath Manual, Hari Nair, Vishnu and Prekumar are other actors. Monayi angane Aanayi will be released this month.
Aju who had been doing the supporting roles and comic roles in most of his movies will be seen as the title role for the first time. Aju plays the role of a village guy named Monayi, who at a particular situation reaches in the city and spends his time along with his friends. He tries to utilize the maximum out of the independence he gets for a while and gets into many troubles.
