It looked like the Detroit Lions were about to pull off the upset and hand the Green Bay Packers their fifth loss in six games. But a questionable facemask penalty with time expiring gave the Packers one last shot, giving Aaron Rodgers a chance to be a hero. Since the game cannot end on a facemask penalty, Green Bay was handed an untimed down from their own 39 yard line. On the game-ending play, Rodgers was nearly sacked in the backfield, but escaped to heave a desperation Hail Mary. The ball somehow ended up in the hands of tight end Richard Rogers.
