US Transportation Officials Embracing The Self Driving Car Development STGIST

Officials at the United States Transportation department are updating their position on the self driving car technology, several news organizations reported Friday.
Raymond H. "Ray" LaHood, the Transportation head that time, said that the policy's goal is to ensure the safety of passengers - whether it's in the car of today, or "(in) fully automated vehicles of the future."
In March, the search giant's automated automobile head Chris Urmson said the Google driverless car platform is doing three million miles of testing daily to ensure safety.
Unlike the Google Car which can drive itself using the company's intelligent algorithm, the Tesla update allows the Model S "to steer within a lane, change lanes with the simple tap of a turn signal, and manage speed by using active, traffic-aware cruise control."
