Qytetin e Gjirokastrës ka përzgjedhur kryetari i LSI Ilir Meta, për të vijuar prezantimin e kandidatëve në këtë qark . Duke ironizuar me inaugurimet e kryeministrit ne prag te fushatës elektorale , Meta ka pohuar se vendi ka nevoje për ndryshim lidershipi në mënyre që vendi të shkojë përpara drejt integrimit dhe ekonomia të ece përpara. Meta ka pohuar se turizmi duhet te zhvillohet. Për këtë ai ka propozuar, 10% ulje TVSH për investimet turistike. Meta ka pohuar se dhe bizneset e reja duhet te përjashtohen nga tatimet për një periudhe 5-vjeçare nëpërmjet një pakete fiskale "One stop shop".
