Dështon raundi final i bisedimeve maratone mes kryeministrit te Kosovës, Thaçi dhe homologut te tij serb Ivica Dacic ne Bruksel, nen ndërmjetësimin e përfaqësueses per politike te jashtme Catherine Ashton. Ne fund te takimit, përfaqësuesja baronesha Ashton tha se negociatat e fundit nuk sollën asnje progres, pasi hendeku mes palëve ishte i madh. "Jane hedhur ne tryeze nje numër propozimesh. Hendeku mes palëve eshte shume i ngushte, por i thelle. Ato do te shkojnë per këshillime ne kryeqytetet e tyre dhe do me njoftojnë per vendimet gjate disa ditëve te ardhshme." Ndërkohë, dy kryeministrat Dacic e Thaçi pohuan pas takimit se bisedimet ishin te vështira ndërsa shtuan se nuk ka ende asnje pakt per çështjen e bashkesise se komunave serbe ne veri. "Megjithëse keto bisedime kane zgjatur, nuk kemi marrëveshje. Kemi edhe pak kohe ne dispozicion per te ardhur deri te zgjidhja. Disa qëndrime jane ende larg, kur behet fjale per pergjegjesite e 'bashkesise' se ardhshme te komunave serbe, per gjyqësorin dhe policinë. Megjithatë, ka pasur mjaft përparim ne bisedime." Ndersa Thaçi tha: "Prishtina ka qene e gatshme per arritjen e nje marreveshjeje, por pala serbe ka pasur qëndrime jo parimore. Serbia heziton pasi pretendon te fitoje kohe. Kosova do te shtrije autoritetin e saj ne veri, dhe do t'i shpërbejë te gjitha strukturat paralele ne veri, dhe nuk do te lejoje kompetenca ekzekutive per bashkësinë." Diten e marte jane zhvilluar dy raunde negociatash, fillimisht ne oren 14:00 te drekes dhe me pas ne oren 21:00 te mbremjes. Megjithatë, palet nuk arriten te gjenin gjuhen e përbashkët. Madje sipas mediave, ka patur edhe nje gjuhet te ashpër mes kryeministrit Thaçi dhe zv/kryeministrit Aleksandar Vucic. Kur numri dy i qeverise serbe i referohej kushtetutës serbe per veriun, Thaçi i ka përmendur faktin se Kosova ka kushtetutën e saj dhe se nese nuk ishte dakord per kete, mund te largohej nga takimi.
