Presidenti i Federatës Shqiptare te Futbollit ka shfrytëzuar miqësoren me Kamerunin ne Zvicër per te patur nje takim me kreun e UEFA-s Mishel Platini.
Ne qendër te takimit ishte problematika e rindërtimit te stadiumit "Qemal Stafa" dhe mundësia e mbështetjes nga UEFA per te realizuar këtë projekt. Deri tani, Organizata Evropiane e Futbollit kishte premtuar nje shume prej 4 milionë euro ndërsa shifra mund te rritet deri ne 10 milionë. Rindërtimi i stadiumit "Qemal Stafa" përflitet prej dy vjetësh ndërsa vetëm një jave me pare ai kaloi nen administrimin e federatës. Është nje projekt qe pritet te realizohet jo nëpërmjet buxhetit te shtetit dhe FSHF, por realizimi i nje skeme financiare ndërmjet investitorëve ose financuesve. Sipas kreut te FSHF pritet nje grup konsulentësh ndërkombëtare qe do te bëjnë skenarin përfundimtar per ndërtimin e stadiumit, ndërsa brenda 2 muajve do te jepen edhe përgjigjet e sakta per çdo hap qe do te hidhet. Stadiumi i ri do te kete nje kapacitet rreth 25 mije vendesh dhe pritet te kushtoje 40 milionë euro.
