Mes Shqipërisë dhe Greqisë nuk ka ende asnjë marrëveshje te re për kufirin detar. Kjo ka qene deklarata e ministrit te punëve te jashtme, Edmond Panariti, i cili ka ripërsëritur vendimin e Gjykatës Kushtetuese për anulimin e marrëveshjes se mëparshme për kufirin ujor ndërsa ka shprehur interesin e Shqipërisë për arritjen e një marrëveshjeje te re, e cila duhet te jete e pranueshme nga te dy fqinjët.
Kreu i diplomacisë shqiptare, foli edhe për deklaratat e një dite me pare te homologut te tij grek, Avramopulos, për rikthimin e shovinizmit ne rajon. I pyetur për qëndrimin e Holandës se Shqipëria nuk e meriton statusin kandidat për ne Bashkimin Evropian, ministri i jashtëm theksoi se ky nuk është qëndrimi zyrtar i shtetit Holandez.
