Qindra biznese ne qytetin e Elbasanit janë prekur nga kriza ekonomike e për rrjedhoje nuk paguajnë detyrimet tatimore ndaj bashkise. Janë 250 subjekte, ndaj te cilëve bashkia ka marre vendim për bllokim te llogarive bankare për vitin 2012, pasi rezultojnë debitorë ne masën 24 milion leke.
Nen kryetari i bashkise Serafin Papa thotë se vendimi i marre erdhi pasi u ezauruan te gjitha hapat për likuidimin e detyrimeve, por bizneset nuk kane paguar ende borxhet. Nen kryetari i bashkise thotë se do te shkohet edhe me tej, duke ju drejtuar edhe zyrës se përmbarimit për te marre detyrimet qe i takojnë. Mos shlyerja ne kohe e taksave dhe tatimeve ndikon ne investimet e këtij qyteti. Vetëm për 6 mujorin e pare te këtij viti ne këtë qytetet rezultojnë se janë mbyllur 312 biznese, ndërsa jane miliona leke te cilat mbeten pa u shlyer si pasoje e falimentimit te tyre, situate kjo e cila ka sjelle nje deficit ne arken e bashkise se ketij qyteti.
