Portrete te patrioteve e figurave me te shquara shqiptare, si dhe simbole historike janë përzgjedhur nga artizanet e Gjirokastrës ne prag te 100-vjetorit te pavarësisë. Punimet ne gur e dru përfshijnë veçanërisht portretet e Skënderbeut dhe te Ismail Qemalit, por nuk mungojnë as figura te tjera përfshirë heroin kosovar Adem Jashari. Ne punimet e bakrit gjen edhe hartën e Shqipërisë, simbolin e flamurit apo shqiponjën dy krereshe. Ndërsa drupunuesi Anastas Petridhi, krahas portreteve te patrioteve, ka gdhendur për here te pare edhe shenjtoren Nene Tereza. Punimet e gdhendura ne dru sipas përmasave variojne nga 5-80 euro, ndërsa ato ne gur arrijnë deri ne 200 euro. Pavarësisht krijimtarisë ne rritje, punët artistike te artizaneve gjejnë vështirësi ne tregun e shitjeve. Shpresa e vetme për te nxjerre edhe shpenzimet e qerase për artizanet mbeten turistet e huaj.
