Phuc Dat Bich gets banned from Facebook several times for having an Asian name

AUSTRALIA — A Vietnamese-Australian man named Phuc Dat Bich was quite upset about being kicked off of Facebook three times, and having to prove that he was using his legal name.
To verify his real name, Bich had to take a picture of his passport and post it to his Facebook account back in January with a caption that says in part: "I've been accused of using a false and misleading name of which I find very offensive. Is it because I'm Asian? Is it? Having my fb shut down multiple times and forced to change my name to my 'real' name, so just to put it out there. My name. Yours Sincerely, Phuc Dat Bich."

The photo of his passport has been shared over 79 thousand times, and his profile has over 29 thousand followers.
