Hillary Clinton's No. 1 requirement for accepting refugees into the U.S.

ary Clinton stood by her claim that the United States should take in 65,000 Syrian and Iraqi refugees, more than six times the 10,000 refugees the Obama administration has committed to supporting.
In the day following the deadly Paris attacks, Republican presidential candidates heaped criticism on President Barack Obama and Clinton, who served as his secretary of state, for both failing in the fight against Islamic State militants and for being willing to accept any refugees from Syria.
"The No. 1 requirement," for accepting refugees into the United States, Clinton said, would be to have "as careful a screening and vetting process as we could imagine, whatever resources it takes."
Clinton offered her condolences to Parisians, but added that prayers are "not enough."
"We need to have a resolve that will bring the world together to root out the kind of radical, Jihadist ideology that motivates organizations ISIS," she said.
