Mr. Vegas has the stones literally dancing in the dancehall yards of the whole world with his seething singles of recent years. We are talking about a veteran of the Jamaican scene whose real name is Clifford Smith.

Despite a problem in his jaw after an accident, in 1997 Clifford managed to sing his “Nike air” over a hot rhythm produced by Jeremy Harding, quickly gaining a huge success only surpassed, if possible, by “Heads high”, next year’s monster hit which became the title of his first successful CD. In such a highly competitive environment, his career went from success to success till the great tunes of recent years like “Tek wey yuhself”, “Hot wuk” , “Taxi fare”, the most recent “I am blessed” and the superb combination with Shaggy and Josey Wales “Sweet Jamaica”. In his energetic shows, this artist masters all types of rhythms paying tribute to the big ones of reggae and dancehall who preceded him.
