Acclaimed Director Ridley Scott Gets Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

British director Sir Ridley Scott was honoured for his achievements in the film industry in Los Angeles on Thursday, with the unveiling of his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as fans and colleagues, along with Scott's wife Giannina Facio, stood by to support the prodigious director. Celebrated actors who have worked with the veteran director, including Russell Crowe, Kristen Wiig, and Salma Hayek, came out to applaud the man that had, at one point or another, helped make them famous.
