Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune pulled off a Scorpion Kick save
Kaizer Chiefs beat Mpumalanga Black Aces in South Africa’s top flight on Tuesday evening in a fairly uneventful game until late on goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune went all Rene Higuita on us.
According to reports, Khune was the man of the match long before his antics in injury time of the second half.
Khune made a number of key saves and then pulled off a Scorpion Kick, reminiscent of Rene Higuita at Wembley.
After the game, Khune uploaded a video to Instagram of his Scorpion Kick, with the following message: “I promised to do it in an official match and I did it tonight against #Aces .what a relief ☺️ #GODisGREAT thank u for capturing this special moment Sir @luzukonteleko #ScorpionKick”.
