A Great Horned Owl is in good condition after being stuck on the grill of a moving truck for hours.
Owls are known for their swooping predatory action.
But one owl recently swooped a bit out of its league and got itself caught on the grill of a semi-truck on Interstate 15.
The driver remembers striking the animal at some point but wasn't aware that it stuck around until stopping to get breakfast the next morning around 11 a.m.
After getting out at a Flying J truck stop in West Haven, Utah, the driver noticed the Great Horned Owl—somehow still alive.
