Opposition ups the ante against VK Singh

The Opposition parties have stepped up their diatribe on Union Minister Gen (retd) VK Singh over his dog analogy on the killing of two Dalit children in Faridabad. Aam Aadmi Party leaders Ashutosh, Sourabh Bharadwaj and Rajendra Gautam will reach parliament street police station at 11 am to file complaint against Singh under the Scheduled Castes Prevention of Atrocities Act. Meanwhile, Congress will launch full throttle attack on Singh with its Dalit leader Kumari Selja taking on the minister. V K Singh, MOS External affairs, yesterday kicked up a huge political row when he tried to shield the government from blame in the Faridabad Dalit burning incident, saying the "government cannot be held responsible if somebody stones a dog". However, Singh later issued a clarification on Twitter.
