Learn how to make soft, fluffy Puri / Poori at home. Puri is an Indian fried soft bread that is enjoyed with bhaji, any gravy vegetable or shrikhand. Our chef Archana brings you the quick and easy recipe on Ruchkar Mejwani.
Ingredients:
1/2 Kg Wheat Flour
3 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Salt
Water
Oil for frying

तळण्यासाठी तेल
Method:
- To make a dough for puri, in a bowl add wheat flour, oil and salt. Mix everything well.
- Then add water and mix everything well to form a medium soft dough. Keep the dough aside for 5 minutes.
- Take small portions of the dough and make round balls.
- Apply little oil to the rolling board and start rolling into small rotis. Similarly keep all the rotis ready for frying.
- In a hot oil, fry the puris on golden color.
- Serve the hot puri with bhaji or shrikhand.
