Canadians Head to the Polls Today

Elections are underway in Canada today. Voter turnout is expected to be high due to the intense election campaign and close poll numbers. Prime Minister Stephen Harper from the Conservative Party is seeking a fourth term in office. His neoliberal policies include stepped up surveillance and support for the Trans Pacific Partnership.
