Argentina Repays $5.9 to US

Argentine made one of its largest debt repayments on Monday, for US$5.9 billion, on its Boden 2015 bond. The repayment was made on time and that the county is keeping up with its repayment schedule. The money came from the country’s foreign exchange reserves, which now total over US$27 billion. After the economic collapse of 2001, Argentina renegotiated its debt with 92% of its creditors. teleSUR
