Syria: Russia Lauches 20 Flights Against 8 ISIS Targets

On its first day of military operations in Syria, Russia launched 20 air strikes against eight Islamic State (ISIS) targets. Syrians were satisfied with the results In a joint press conference at the UN, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry announced that talks would be expedited to avoid confrontations between Russian and Israeli aircraft in Syrian airspace.
