People were evacuated from their homes in St. Albans overnight after a large sinkhole opened up at the end of a driveway.The hole, which measures 20 metres by 20 metres (65 feet) and is 10 metres (32 feet) deep, has opened up in Fontwell Close, St. Albans, BBC News reported.There was already a small hole, which was due to be filled in, but it "opened up substantially" in the early hours of the morning. Dozens of homes have been left without water and electricity.
