Yaara Silly Silly ► Official Full HD Trailer ► Paoli Dam & Parambrata Chatterjee ♥♥♥
Star Cast - Paoli Dam & Parambrata Chatterjee
Story / Writers - Rajeev Yogendra Nath
Choreographers - Himanshu Gadani
Costume Designers - Pampa Biswas
Executive Producer - Parag Vijra
Both of them made their first Bollywood impression by featuring in a 'kahaani' that had vendetta as its theme. Paoli Dam was the face of Hate Story, an erotic thriller. Parambrata Chatterjee was a strong supporting arm for Vidya Balan in Kahaani, a dramatic thriller. Now they are coming together for a love story, which is interestingly titled Yaara Silly Silly.
"The film has been in the making for a while though," informs our source, "It was announced two years back when both Paoli and Parambrata were in news for their respective films. The film's shooting was spread out though and then suddenly there was no news around it. Now it is being readied for release."
Interestingly, Paoli and Parambrata crossed path again in another Hindi film Gang of Ghosts where former was roped in for an item number and latter was one of the key protagonists. However after that, not much was heard about the duo again in the Bollywood arena.
The source adds, "The title song is an obvious take off from the namesake song that featured in Lekin. Director Subhash Sehgal was quite attached to the Gulzar written song since he was a long standing editor of the veteran writer-director during the days of films like Ijazat and Lekin (the film which fetched him a Filmfare award for the Best Editor), as well as the serial Mirza Ghalib. He also produced a serial written by Gulzar, titled Ek Kahani Aur Mili."
"It has to be seen how Subhash has directed the film since his one and only release before this, Sunny Deol and Mahima Chaudhary starrer Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin (1999), was a no-show - both commercially and critically," the source adds, "It would be an acid test for all involved once the film hits the screens."
Currently slated for September 25 release, the film is arriving in a month that has a couple of other love stories hitting the screens - Hero (September 4) and Katti Batti (September 18).
