Maserati 'abandoned after crashing into university campus'

Footage has emerged showing the wreckage of a Maserati GranTurismo sportscar after its owner apparently crashed and abandoned the expensive vehicle at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

The video, captured on Sunday morning, shows the smashed up supercar abandoned on the University campus after crashing through the fence.

According to local reports, the owner of the vehicle has yet to be found.
