Footage has surfaced from a huge Michigan high school hockey brawl involving players and referees.

The incident occurred last season during a game between Canadian School St. Mary’s College (SMC) and Sault High School.

In the video, the ref tries to get an SMC player out of a scrum but the player resists and the ref appears to hit him.

SMC players rush over and start throwing punches at the ref as he’s down on the ice.

As two SMC players are punching the ref, another two SMC players start beating up the Sault High goalie.

Fights continue on the ice until coaches and parents rush onto the rink to help calm things down.

Police were sent to the arena to restore order and two SMC players were suspended, according to local media.
