911 Call Records Murder of Augusta Man
An Augusta murder was caught at the end of the victim's 911 caller in March 2015.
Caregiver Karl Hardge was gunned down by elderly patient John O'Bryant at the suspect's home on Leland Drive. The 86-year-old patient was eventually charged with murder but died April 14, 2015 in an Augusta hospital where he was being treated for a host of medical issues. A motive was not clear, but the suspect's family says he suffered from dementia.
