How to Paint a Landscape: Part 2

This is part 2 of my art tutorial on How to Paint a Landscape. This time I am focusing on the use of scale to create depth in the painting, this combined with the fact that colours get lighter as they go into the background creates distance in the landscape.
I shall show you how, by simply making trees smaller and lighter as they disappear into the landscape it will give a sense of depth. I am using acrylic paint. This art tutorial is aimed at beginners, children, primary teachers that teach children, GCSE Art students and anyone who is starting out on this wonderful journey of painting.
