A massive explosion has ripped through a shrine in the Thai capital Bangkok, killing several people. The blast happened outside one of the best-known shrines in the capital -- the Erawan Shrine in the centre of the city. The blast caused people to flee in panic, quickly blocking the major intersection nearby and hampering the emergency services. The shrine, next to a five-star hotel, is usually packed with people seeking good fortune, and is also popular with tourists. BBC's Jonathan head reports from the scene of the explosion.Subscribe to BBC News HERE http://bit.ly/1rbfUogCheck out our website: http://www.bbc.com/news Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/bbcworldnews Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/bbcworldInstagram: http://instagram.com/bbcnews
