Today Cristina Escobar continues her conversation with Cuban statesman, diplomat and lawmaker Ricardo Alarcon, who notes some key moments in Cuban history and says he doesn’t fear U.S. domination in the current normalization process. Cuba, he says, will continue to be a small independent nation next to a big country that poses a threat to humanity. One challenge is to strengthen democracy. How?
